Bakary/Pastry
In the showcase in the KAGARIBI storefront,
Breads and cakes made by our resident bakery chef and pastry chef are always available for purchase.
We are particular about using ingredients that originate from KAGARIBI, such as those from Italy and Nagano Prefecture,
The lineup also incorporates seasonal ingredients to allow customers to experience the four seasons in Karuizawa.
We keep the prices low so that local residents can drop by casually and enjoy the flavors that they never get tired of.
BAKERY
BAKERY
Bread made by a bakery chef who loves the rich nature of Karuizawa is popular. Using wheat that he carefully selects himself by visiting wheat fields in the prefecture, he has been able to cope with the daily changes in Karuizawa’s climate through trial and error, resulting in a growing number of local customers who are always talking about his new products.
From March, a sweet and sour and happy Kuguroff and French bread with milk cream will be available, using an abundance of Karuizawa strawberries.
PASTRY
PASTRY
The patissier, who loves Karuizawa, creates original cakes using seasonal local ingredients and traditional Italian cooking techniques.
We hope you will enjoy these cakes not only as desserts after a meal, but also for everyday use, such as during tea time at home or as souvenirs.
New for March is an elegantly sweet green tea roll cake.
